高科大 盈正豫順 特別獎 評語

今年頒發的油畫類特別獎,由《無題》這件作品脫穎而出。
藝術家藉由對腐化物的微觀角度,呈現另類綿密細緻的蓬勃生命力。作品具有一種介於具象與抽象形式間微妙中間性美感。
在圖像呈現上,近似於某種無比繁複、不斷多向度地蔓延、複製、增生或自我繁衍的某種生物體結構,視覺觀點上有時可聚焦於其中某些區域,而大部分傾向於重疊、離散、任意的重組當中,猶如無法永遠在現實中透析的物質,潛意識中將物的微細胞分子不斷驅散又另類地聚集,形成畫面的迴旋狀態;换言之·屬於中間色系與色調、具明暗差異的畫面是非限定的,透過觀者的自由想像而形塑其視覺空間之物。
《無題》正如其題目的設定,遊走在有/無之間,具象與抽象之間,意義與非意義之間,優美與醜陋之間,創造某種莫名的曖昧、不確定狀態,透過大量的時間和重複的勞力,創造了意義發生的可能性。在失焦與模糊中創造觀者的定義。
藝術家以古典油畫技法創發嶄新的影像質地,令人印象深刻,尤其運用一種極為細膩的繪畫手法,作品處處有引人入勝的細節,但透過「去主題」(無題)的想像,讓觀眾不僅聚焦於細部表現,更引發內在的幻想。
作品獨特之處,是以不同時序創作的雙拼畫面,呈顯對於外在世界的演化體察和意識流轉的自我審視,如細胞衍生的原點綿延下,一切「物」的內部與外象合而為一,一同潛入意識深沉之領地。
The special award in the oil painting category this year was awarded to Untitled, a work that stood out among the rest.
Through a microscopic perspective on decay, the artist presents an alternative vision of dense and intricate vitality. The piece embodies a delicate aesthetic balance between figurative and abstract forms.
Visually, the composition resembles an intricate, multidimensional organic structure that continuously spreads, replicates, and proliferates. At times, certain areas can be brought into focus, while much of the imagery leans towards overlapping, dispersion, and arbitrary reorganization—akin to an elusive material that can never be fully deciphered in reality. Subconsciously, the molecular details of objects are constantly being scattered and reassembled, forming a swirling dynamic within the painting. In other words, the undefined composition, characterized by intermediate tones and contrasts of light and shadow, allows viewers to shape their own visual space through imagination.
As its title suggests, Untitled exists in a liminal state—between presence and absence, figuration and abstraction, meaning and meaninglessness, beauty and grotesqueness. It generates a profound sense of ambiguity and uncertainty. Through an extensive process of time and repetitive labor, the artist creates the potential for meaning to emerge. The work invites viewers to define its essence within its blurred and unfocused visual field.
Employing classical oil painting techniques, the artist develops an innovative visual texture that leaves a lasting impression. The highly meticulous brushwork reveals an abundance of captivating details, yet by eschewing a defined theme (Untitled), the work encourages audiences not only to focus on its intricate execution but also to explore their own internal interpretations.
What makes this piece particularly unique is its diptych format, created at different times, which reflects an evolving perception of the external world and a self-examination of consciousness. Like the continuous propagation of cells, it suggests a fusion between the inner essence and outer appearance of all things, leading the viewer into the depths of subconscious awareness.
