This is a portrait of an elderly person. Since the photo of the elderly person was provided by someone else, I could only use a small image as a reference to create this piece.

In this artwork, I find the most interesting aspect to be the depiction of the wrinkles and facial structure of the elderly person. These details provide many clues about this individual, sparking my endless imagination. I often speculate about the elderly person, pondering questions like: How old is he? How did he get the small scar on his face? Why are his eyebrows raised so high? Was he happy or nervous when the photo was taken? As I paint, I discover that I am engaged in this intriguing process of speculation.

I deliberately reduced the distance between the face and the edge of the paper, attempting to present the face more directly. Despite being the smallest portrait I have ever drawn, I still strive to capture every detail in this artwork.
