The person in the painting is my sister.

When she visited my house, I pleaded with her to let me paint a portrait. Reluctantly, she agreed, and I took this photograph. During the photo shoot, she insisted on wearing a safety helmet, and I didn't know why, so I just went along with it.

Later, I thought that perhaps my sister wanted to wear the safety helmet to seek a sense of psychological security.

Two months later, I completed the artwork. When I showed it to her, she wasn't satisfied. She kept saying her skin looked too rough, her eyes lacked vitality, and she didn't want me to exhibit this piece because it presented her in an unflattering light.



畫裡的人是我姐姐。

當她來我家時，我懇求她讓我畫一幅肖像。她無奈地同意了，於是我拍下了一張照片。拍照的時候，她堅持要戴安全帽，我也不知道為什麼，只能順從著她。

後來我想，也許姐姐想戴安全帽是為了尋求心理上的安全感。

兩個月後，我完成了這幅作品。當我給她看時，她不滿意。她一直說她的皮膚看起來太粗糙，她的眼睛缺乏活力，她不希望我展出這件作品，因為這件作品呈現出她不美麗的模樣。
