Ideas / 概念


The main subject of the painting is Mr. Zhang, a gallery owner whom I happened to meet in Guangzhou, China.

In 2016, when I participated in a competition at the Guangzhou Daxin Art Museum, I met Mr. Zhang for the first time. From his manner of speaking, it was clear that he was a successful gallery owner with assets in both China and Taiwan.

I mentioned my plan to create portrait paintings and showed him some of my works. After viewing them, he quickly agreed to sit for the portrait, which led to the creation of this piece.




畫中主角是張先生，他是我在中國廣州偶遇的畫廊老闆。

在2016年，我參與廣州大新美術館的比賽時，第一次遇見張先生。從他的言談中，可以聽出他是事業有成的畫廊老闆，在中國與台灣都有資產。

我提及了我繪製肖像的計畫，並給他過目一些繪畫作品。他看到後很迅速地答應了我的繪畫邀請，於是才有這件作品。
