Ideas/概念
Looking at the imagery of Untitled, the first visual impression is one of density and layering, stemming from my observations and documentation of decaying matter.
On a microscopic level, decay exhibits an intricate interplay of layers and colors, symbolizing both death and renewal. At the same time, it resembles a macroscopic aerial perspective, where jungles, mountains, and fields merge into a composite image. This image embodies the overlapping nature of objects—one becomes many; many converge into one.
I juxtapose two works created at different periods, each representing a specific moment of observation while also marking shifts in my inner state. This approach expands the possibilities of the pictorial plane, allowing painting to transcend a purely visual mode and even extend into tactile and olfactory realms.
